Men's Cross Country Squad Wins ACC Award

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The <?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>University of Miami men’s cross country squad has been chosen the winner of the Atlantic Coast Conference 2007 Sportsmanship Award.  One conference school in each sport is selected for conducting themselves with a high degree of character and good sportsmanship as determined by a vote of the league’s players and coaches.

The Conference presents sportsmanship awards for each of its 25 sponsored sports.  The concept of these awards was created by the ACC Student Advisory Committee in an effort to recognize teams who earned the utmost regard from their peers during competition.
