Miami has come off back-to-back losses by a combined three points. The Hurricanes will look to get back into the win column against the University of Mississippi.
Maurita Reid has led her team in scoring in all but two games this season and for the second time in the 2007-08 campaign the senior scored at least 20 points in the loss to Houston.
A Look at Mississippi
The University of Mississippi will face the Hurricanes in their third game of the week. They defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 73-64 on Monday but fell to PennState 77-84 Thursday evening. Ole Miss has alternated wins and losses the past five games.
The Rebels are led by Shantell Black, Shawn Goff and Kayla Melson who are all averaging double-digits in scoring. Carla Bartee leads the team in rebounding, pulling 11.5 per game so far this season.
The Series
Mississippi and Miami have each won two games in their all-time series with Ole Miss taking last season’s contest by an 82-64 score.
