Will Hurricanes game day traditions continue? All Miami Hurricanes traditions will be honored: Our student-athletes will continue to run through the smoke tunnel as they enter the field. The UM and ACC logos will be displayed throughout the stadium. The “Touchdown Tommy” cannon will fire when UM scores. The stadium will look and feel like the home of Hurricanes football. UM’s Ring of Honor will cover the stadium for Hurricanes games. In addition, the stadium “ribbon board” will bear Hurricanes identity.

Will Hurricanes apparel be available at the stadium for Hurricanes home games? Yes, Hurricanes apparel will be available at three team stores and numerous portable locations in and around Dolphin Stadium.

What is parking like at the Stadium? There are approximately 14,000 parking spaces at Dolphin Stadium, compared to 3,146 at the Orange Bowl.

Do the University’s coaches support the move? Yes. “Hurricanes football has a strong tradition of attracting top student-athletes. The move to the stadium and the superior facilities that it offers will greatly enhance our recruiting efforts,” said football head coach Randy Shannon.

What Dolphin Stadium upgrades will be available to Hurricane ticket holders? The stadium is currently undergoing a $300 million expansion and renovation. Stadium amenities include:

High-definition video boards, among the largest in collegiate and pro sports Four 103-inch plasma displays, one of the world’s largest plasma TVs Over 1,600 TV monitors so you won’t miss any of the action All-new LED ribbon board which adds an entertaining dimension to the stadium experience Concession and merchandise stands throughout the stadium that accept credit card/debit payments

What will the alcohol policy be for college games? Alcohol will be served throughout the stadium through the end of half time and in suite and club areas throughout the game. Student and family sections will be alcohol-free.
