Steward Earns 2007 All-ACC Academic Women's Golf Team Honors

<?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>University of Miami junior Jessica Steward has been named to the 2007 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Women’s Golf Team as announced Thursday by ACC Commissioner John Swofford.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>
Steward, a native of Mystic, Conn. who majors in Sports Administration, led the Hurricanes with a 75.92 stroke average this season. Also among Steward’s accomplishments was a first place finish at the GSU/Pelican Preserve Invite in October.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
