Phlatts Leads Miami At ACC Championships

Charlottesville, Va. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami junior DeeDee Phlatts (Silver Spring, Md.) finished 68th to lead the women’s cross country team at the ACC Cross Country Championships in Charlottesville, Va.
Phlatts, who has been Miami’s top finisher at all four races this season, completed the 5K course in a time of 23:52.5. Overall the Hurricanes placed 12th with 384 points. NC State won the team title with 59 points. Duke was second (88 pts) while host Virginia finished third (104 pts).
Miami returns to action on November 11 at the NCAA South Region Championships in Knoxville, Tenn.
