Women's Golf Returns To Action

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s golf team will return to action, October 16-17, at the GSU/Pelican Preserve Invitational being held in Ft. Myers, Fla.

The 13-team field includes eight teams ranked in the top-100 by the Golfweek/Sagarin Index. Joining Miami, which is ranked No. 85, will be No. 40 Louisville, No. 48 College of Charleston, No. 50 Iowa, No. 57 South Florida, No. 67 Middle Tennessee State, No. 80 Mississippi, No. 84 Florida International and No. 97 Texas Tech.

Rounding out the field will be host Georgia State, Minnesota, Florida Atlantic and Daytona Beach Community College.

The first and second rounds will played on Monday with the final round on Tuesday.
