Men's Track Signs Two Recruits

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – Head men’s track and field coach Mike Ward announces the signing of Cory Nelms (Neptune, N.J.) and Les Bradley (Leesburg, Va.) to national letters of intent to attend the University of Miami this fall.
Nelms won 2006 National Scholastic Indoor Championship in the 60-meter hurdles posting a career-best time of 7.90 seconds, marking the fourth fastest in the nation during the indoor season.
Competing for Neptune High School, Nelms was a 2006 first team All-Area and All-Group 2 selection by the Newark Star-Ledger.
Bradley, competing for Heritage High School, won the Virginia AA State title in the 110-meter hurdles in 2005, and was an honorable-mention All-Met selection by the Washington Post this season.
Bradley captured his second consecutive Region II title in the 110-hurdles in 2006 with a career-best time of 14.16 seconds. He won the Region II championship in the 300-hurldes in 2005 and has person-best mark of 38.27 in the event.
