Harris Qualifies For NCAA Championships

Greensboro, N.C. (hurricanesports.com) – Sophomore All-American Tim Harris (Miami Booker T. Washington) automatically qualified for next month’s NCAA Championships placing fourth in the 800-meters at the NCAA East Regional Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
Harris ran a time of 1:49.57 to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the first time of his career. Harris finished 10th in the 800-meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships earlier this season.
The NCAA Championships will take place June 7-10 in Sacramento, Calif.
In Saturday’s high jump competition, freshman Elan Daviglus (Miami Northwest Christian) did not clear the opening height.
