Tamara James to Compete in ESPN College Three Point and Slam Dunk Championships

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Senior forward Tamara James has been invited to compete in the 18th Annual ESPN College Three Point and Slam Dunk Championships held Thursday, March 30 at Butler Hinkle Field House in Indianapolis, Ind. The event will be televised live on ESPN beginning at 9 p.m.
Earlier this season, James, a 2006 First Team All-ACC selection, surpassed Maria Rivera as the University of Miami’s all-time leading scorer with 2,406 career points.
Among UM’s all-time leaders, James ranks second in career three pointers made (150), third in three pointers attempted (417) and fifth in career three point percentage (.360).
