Weintraub Finishes Seventh At Waterlefe Invitational

University of Miami sophomore Hagen Weintraub (Davie, Fla.) recorded a final round of 78 to finish tied for seventh at the Waterlefe Invitational at Waterlefe Golf and River Club in Bradenton, Fla.

Weintraub (79-78-78–235) was the Hurricanes’ top finisher leading UM to a fifth-place team finish. Miami recorded a three-round total of 959. Florida International won the team title with a score of 941.

Junior Jessica Steward (Mystic, Conn.) finished in a tie for 15th (78-84-76–238) while junior Tiffany Prats (Williston, Fla.) finished tied for 21st (82-80-79–241). Freshman Anabelle Paulino (Santo Domingo, D.R.) recorded a score of 250 (82-85-83) to finish tied for 37th with Urd Pedersen (Elverum, Norway) rounding out the UM scoring placing 56th with a score of 260 (90-80-90).

The Hurricanes return to action March 27-28 at the Lady Seahawk Invitational in Wallace, N.C.
