Hurricanes Complete First Day at UNC Fast Times Meet

Chapel Hill, N.C. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami men’s track and field team completed the first day of competition at the University of North Carolina Fast Times meet.
This was the first day of competition for the heptathletes, and they performed well with junior Roland DaSilva standing in third place with 2624, just 14 points out of second place, after the first day of events and sophomore Andrew Parsons coming in at fifth place with 2466 points.
The heptathalon finishes tomorrow afternoon with the 60 meter hurdles, the pole vault and the 1000 meter run.
