Ticket Allocation Policy

The University of Miami Athletic Department has implemented a ticket allocation policy specifically for the 2006 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament to be held on March 9 -12 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, NC. We are now in our second year as a member of the ACC and will receive two-thirds of our normal allotment of tickets that we will receive beginning with the 2007 Tournament. Due to our limited number of tickets received and the internal demands on tickets, the following ticket allocation will be in place and strictly followed. There will be seven (7) levels of qualification for tickets. No tickets will be guaranteed. Tickets will be allocated based on priority points within their giving level for those who qualify for tickets. Tickets that are purchased will only be available for pick up at will call in Greensboro, NC. For the purposes of this tournament, all contributions to the Hurricane Club’s annual fund, endowment program, Convocation Center project, Hecht Athletic project, and any other capital campaign projects will determine a person’s level of giving. Fees paid to booster groups such as Top of the Key or memorial gifts will not be included for these purposes. Gift totals are determined by what is actually PAID between the dates of January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2005.
