Harris Out 3-6 Weeks

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami junior Anthony Harris (Chicago, Ill.) is expected to miss three to six weeks after a bone scan revealed a hairline fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot. Harris was placed in a cast on Thursday and will be reevaluated in three weeks.
Harris (6-2, 187) started 28 of 29 games last season averaging 12.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and a team-high 4.6 assists per game. He ranked fifth in the ACC in assists and was also among the league leaders in scoring (25th) and assist-to-turnover ratio (8th).
The men’s basketball team will be in action this Saturday, November 5 when they face Nova Southeastern in an exhibition game beginning at 2 p.m. at the Convocation Center.
