Schultz Finishes 15th At ACC Championships

Tallahassee, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – Senior Melanie Schultz (Davison, Mich.) finished 15th completing the six kilometer course in a time of 19:56.1 to lead the University of Miami women’s cross country team to an 11th-place finish at the ACC Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla.
Schultz, who is the first woman in UM history to finish a six kilometer race in under 20 minutes, nearly earned All-ACC honors finishing less than three seconds out of 14th-place. The top 14 individual finishers earn All-ACC recognition.
Miami returns to action on Saturday, November 12 at the NCAA South Region Cross Country Championships in Gainesville, Fla.
