Carnes Places 39th At Disney Classic

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – Freshman Andrew Carnes (Canton, Ohio) completed the eight kilometer course in a time of 27:00.13 to finish 39th at the Walt Disney Cross Country Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Miami sent only three runners to this weekend’s event. The full Hurricane squad returns to action on Saturday, October 15 at the Chili Pepper Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.

Also competing Saturday was freshman Andrew Chuplis (Winter Park, Fla.) who finished 53rd with a time of 27:20.33, and senior James Mullaly (Ellicott City, Md.) who finished 90th in a time of 28:14.25.
