ACC Announces 2004-05 Honor Roll

2004-05 ACC Honor Roll

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Miami placed 126 student-athletes on the 49th annual Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll, noting academic excellence by student-athletes for the 2004-05 school year, it was released Thursday by Commissioner John D. Swofford.

The Honor Roll is comprised of those student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. A league record 2,236 athletes were honored for their hard work in the classroom this past year.

Recent graduate and All-American Megan Bradley headlined Miami’s list of honorees. Bradley was named the ITA Women’s National Player of the Year after finishing the season as the top ranked singles player in the nation.

Also included on the list wasYassamin Haririnia of the women’s rowing team, who received the ACC’s Weaver-James-Corrigan scholarship which is given to selected student-athletes who intend to pursue a graduate-level degree following graduation.
