Harris Travels To NCAA East Regional

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami freshman Tim Harris, Jr. (Miami Booker T. Washington) will compete in the 800-meters at the 2005 NCAA East Regional Track and Field Championships, May 27-28, at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island, N.Y.

Harris, the 2004 USATF Junior National Champion, qualified for the regional with a time of 1:49.63 at the Georgia Tech Invitational on May 14th. Harris’ time ranks 12th in the East Region this season.

The men’s 800-meter preliminaries are scheduled for Friday at 6:30 p.m.
