Miller Ties For Fourth At ACC Golf Championship

Charlotte, N.C. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami senior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) shot a final round 72 and finished in a tie for fourth-place at the ACC Women’s Golf Championship at Carmel Country Club in Charlotte, N.C.
Miller, who entered the ACC Championship having won her last two starts, finished with a three-round total of 225 to finish six strokes back. Duke’s Brittany Lang won the individual title with a score of 219.
As a team the Hurricanes posted a 305 on Sunday, their best round of the tournament, to finish in fifth-place with a three day total of 946. Duke, the nation’s top ranked team, won the team title with a score of 886. Wake Forest was a distant second (933).
