Miller Second After First Round

BRADENTON, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami senior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) fired an opening round 73 and is in a tie for second-place after the first round of the Waterlefe/USF Invitational in Bradenton, Fla.
Miller, who has five career tournament victories to her credit, is two strokes behind Georgia State’s Lisbeth Meincke who posted an opening round 71 to grab the early lead.Miami recorded first round score of 303 and is second place, one stroke behind Georgia State who recorded an opening round 302.
The tournament’s second and third rounds will take place on Tuesday.
