Hurricanes Second Heading Into Final Round

Miami, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami women’s golf team recorded a tournament low 300 in Saturday’s second-round and is in second-place, four strokes out of the lead, heading into Sunday’s final round of the 27th FIU Pat Bradley Invitational at the Doral Golf Resort in Miami, Fla.
Princeton (307-302–609) leads the team competition. Miami is second (313-300–613) with Bethune-Cookman (323-303–626) in third.
Senior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) shot a second-round 72 and is second-place individually with a two round total of 145. Miller is three strokes behind Avery Kiser (Princeton) who posted her second consecutive 71 to maintain her lead.
Miller was one of four Hurricanes to record scores in the 70’s. Senior Esther Lee (Seoul, South Korea) shot 77 on Saturday and is tied for 12th (156), while sophomore Josie Shinn (Pinehurst, N.C.) recorded a 76 to move into 14th-place (157). Freshman Hagen Weintraub (Davie, Fla.) is tied for 15th with a two-day total of 158 after posting a second-round 75.
