Ferguson Wins 200-Meter Bronze Medal

Athens’ Greece (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami volunteer assistant track coach Debbie Ferguson, competing for the Bahamas, won the 200-meter bronze medal with a season-best time of 22.30 seconds at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
Ferguson, who finished seventh in the 100-meter final on Saturday, will now prepare for the 4×100-meter relay. Ferguson anchored the Bahamas to the 4×100-meter relay gold medal at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
The 4×100-meter relay preliminaries are scheduled for Thursday with the final round set for Friday.
