Miller Finishes 85th At US Women's Amateur

University of Miami senior Tina Miller (Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) fired a second-round 75 to finish tied for 85th with a two-day score of 158 at the 2004 US Women’s Amateur Championship at The Kahkwa Club in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Miller missed the cut by two-strokes. The top 64 players at the conclusion of stroke play advanced to match-play competition which begins today.
Miller was the Hurricanes top finisher in six tournaments this season and posted a team-best 75.7 stroke average. She recorded two tournament victories this past season and registered six other top ten finishes. Earlier this summer Miller qualified for and competed in the US Women’s Open in South Hadley, Mass.
