Miller Concludes Play At US Women's Open

South Hadley, Mass. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami junior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) recorded her second consecutive round of 81 on Friday to finish with a two-round total of 162 at the US Women’s Open at Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.
Miller, the second Hurricane in the last three seasons to qualify for the US Women’s Open, missed the cut.
Miller, was one of 15 amateurs in the field, qualified for the US Open with a 36-hole score of 148 (75-73) at the sectional qualifying tournament at Knollwood Country Club in West Bloomfield, Mich. She was the low amateur at the Sectional.
Miller was the Hurricanes top finisher in six tournaments this season and posted a team-best 75.7 stroke average. She recorded two tournament victories this past season and registered six other top ten finishes.
