Mulvaney Qualifies For BIG EAST Championships In 5,000-Meters

Philadelphia, Pa. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami senior Matt Mulvaney (South Hadley, Mass.) finished 16th in the 5,000-meters with a BIG EAST qualifying time of 14:47.14 at the 2004 Penn Relays being held at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mulvaney, who’s time was a UM best this season, has now qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in both the 5,000-meters and 10,000-meters. The BIG EAST Championships will be held May 1-2 in Piscataway, N.J.
