UM Golfers Fourth Heading Into Final Round

Southern Pines, N.C. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s golf team recorded rounds of 312 and 305, and are in fourth-place (617) heading into the final round of the Ross Resorts Invitational in Southern Pines, N.C.

The Hurricanes, who have finished in the top-5 of all four tournaments this fall, were led by senior Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen, Norway) who is tied for sixth with a two-round total of 150 (77-73).

Hilland trails co-leaders Carol Green (James Madison) and Darby Sligh (Alabama) by seven strokes heading into the final round. Both women recorded two-round scores of 143 on Monday.

James Madison (299-305-604) leads the team competition with Kentucky (307-298-605) only one stroke back. Alabama (294-315-609) is currently third.

Final round action is scheduled for Tuesday.
