Hurricanes Prepare to Take on Florida Atlantic

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami Volleyball team will head to Boca Raton, Fla. to take on Florida Atlantic on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
The Hurricanes (17-6) will look to rebound after losing two of three matches last week, falling to Florida A&M, 3-2 and Connecticut, 3-1 before bouncing back to take St. John’s, 3-0.
Miami and FAU (11-10) have split, 2-2 in previous matches after the Hurricanes downed the Owls, 3-0 in their last meeting on Oct. 29, 2002 in Boca Raton.
UM will look to the play of redshirt freshman Francheska Savage who has posted a career-high with 17 kills and tied a career-best with six total blocks against St. John’s and is averaging 1.31 blocks per game in Miami’s last three matches.
