UM's Miller Fourth Heading Into Final Round

Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami junior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) recorded a second-round 80 and is in a tie for fourth heading into the final round of the 2003 Hatter Fall Classic in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla.

Miller, who has won two of the first three tournaments this season, has a two-day total of 154 and trails Florida Atlantic’s Natalia Navarro (76-72-148) by six strokes. Miller is attempting to become the first UM golfer since Tracy Kerdyk in 1988 to win three or more individual titles in one season.

As a team the Hurricanes shot 318 and are in third place with a two-day total of 637. Rollins College (312-313-625) leads the tournament while South Florida is in second (321-314-635).

The third and final round will take place on Tuesday.
