Women's Golfers Return To Action This Weekend

Coral Gables, FL (hurricanesports.com – The University of Miami women’s golf team returns to action, October 19-21, at the Hatter Fall Classic in Howie-In-The-Hills, FL. The three-day, 54-hole event will be played on the par-72, 6015-yard El Campeon Course at Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort.

The 17-team tournament field includes Bethune-Cookman, Daytona Beach CC. Florida Atlantic, Florida Southern, Georgia State, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State, Mercer, Mississippi, Rollins, host Stetson, Troy State, UCF, South Florida, Western Michigan, and Winthrop.

Miami, which has finished in the top-5 of all three tournaments this season, is led by junior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame). Miller has already registered two victories this season including a win at the season-opening Cougar Classic, and a victory at last weekend’s Beacon Woods Invitational.
