Miller Takes Lead At Beacon Woods Invitational

Bayonet Point, FL (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami junior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) shot an even-par 72 to take a two-stroke lead heading into the final round of the Beacon Woods Invitational at Beacon Woods Country Club in Bayonet Point, FL.

Miller, who is the only women currently under par for the tournament with a two-day two-under-par score of 142, is looking to win her second tournament of the season and fourth of her career. Miller won the season opening Cougar Classic earlier this year.

Overall the Hurricanes shot 308 on Saturday and are in fifth-place with a two-round total of 608 heading into Sunday’s final round. Host South Florida leads the tournament with a two-round score of 597.

Miami senior Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen, Norway) is tied for 14th with a two-round total of 151 (73-78).
