UM Golfers Return To Action This Weekend

Coral Gables, FL (hurricanesports.com) – The 19th-ranked University of Miami women’s golf team returns to action this weekend, October 3-5, at the Wildcat Fall Invitational in Lexington, KY.

Miami is one of seven ranked teams in the 18 team field which includes seventh-ranked Mississippi State, 15th-ranked Vanderbilt, 20th-ranked Coastal Carolina, 41st-ranked Virginia, 43rd-ranked East Carolina and 49th-ranked College of Charleston. Also competing this weekend are Central Florida, Eastern Kentucky, Florida Southern, host Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Richmond, South Florida, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, and Western Carolina.

Miami, which finished third at the Cougar Classic to open the season, is led by junior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame). Miller won the Cougar Classic earlier this season and is ranked 14th in the nation heading into the Wildcat Fall Classic.
