CANESFEST 2003!!!
Canesfest is here to kick-off the 2003 football season. The event will be held in Broward on Saturday, July 26th from 2-6 p.m. at the Broward Convention Center, and in Palm Beach on Sunday, July 27th from 1-4 p.m. at the South Florida Fairgrounds. Canesfest will include an autograph session with current players, an interactive zone, a silent auction featuring memorabilia and other great prizes, a raffle, lots of food, entertainment and much, much more. Freshmen Luncheon
Make your reservation TODAY to welcome our Freshmen football players to UM at the 2003 Freshmen Luncheon on Saturday, August 9 from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Founder’s Hall (formerly the Faculty Club) on the Coral Gables campus. Sit at the same table and enjoy lunch with the Freshmen football players and then watch the open practice at 3:30 p.m. The cost is 18 dollars for Hurricane Club Members and 20 dollars for Non-Members. New Tennis Scoreboard
tennis-scoreboard150.jpgLast month a brand new, state-of-the-art electronic scoreboard was added to the Neil Schiff Tennis Center. Considered one of the best collegiate tennis facilities in the nation, the Schiff Tennis Center houses 16 courts individually lit by eight low-mounted halogen lights. Women Helping Women
WHW-071003-150b_mini.gifJoin the fun as Dianna Coker teaches the basic fundamentals of college football in Football 101. A football tutorial, lunch, interaction with student-athletes, and prizes will be included with all proceeds benefiting UM women’s athletics. Head Football Coach Larry Coker will also make a guest appearance at the event, which is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 8th at 11 a.m. in the Knight Sports Complex on Miami’s Coral Gables campus. August 1st Deadline Approaching
