Walden Takes Third at Georgia Tech Invitational

Atlanta, Georgia (hurricanesports.com) – University of MiamifreshmanTerrell Walden (Miami Edison) finished third in the 100-meters with atime of10.48 seconds to lead the Hurricanes men’s track and field team at theGeorgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Georgia.
Walden, the BIG EAST 100-meter champion, also anchored the4x100-meterrelay to a fourth-place finish (40.61). Joining Walden on the relay wasfreshman Travarous Bain (Miami Northwestern), sophomore Tanard Davis(MiamiSouthridge) and sophomore Roscoe Parrish (Miami Senior).
The meet is the final tune-up for the Hurricanes prior to the NCAARegional Championships, May 30-31, in Fairfax, Virginia.
