“In recent days, I have received numerous requests from media outlets asking me to comment on speculation regarding a possible move by the University of Miami from the Big East Conference to the Atlantic Coast Conference. As has been reported, the University of Miami, and others, are examining options for our athletic futures. It would not be appropriate at this time to comment or speculate on this subject.”
