Miller Makes Move At NCAA Regionals

Winston-Salem, NC (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami sophomore Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) fired a second-round 72 and is tied for 18th heading into Saturday’s final round of the NCAA Women’s East Regional Golf Championship at Salem Glen Country Club in Winston-Salem, NC.

Miller, who was in a tie for 31st at the start of the day, used three birdies over Friday’s final seven to jump up 13 places in the standings with a two-day total of 147 (75-72). North Carolina’s Meaghan Francella leads the tournament with a two-day score of 138 (69-69).

The third and final round is scheduled for Saturday beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The top eight teams and next two individuals advance to the NCAA Championship finals, May 20-23, at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, IN.
