Final Results From The BIG EAST Tennis Championships

Coral Gables, Fla. – Due to unsafe playing conditions (lightning) the 2003 BIG EAST Men’s Tennis Championship at the Neil Schiff Tennis Complex in Coral Gables, Fla. was halted.

The No. 1 seed, University of Miami, earns the automatic qualifier to the NCAA Championship due to conference policy.

Notre Dame knocked off the Miami women’s tennis team 4-3 in the 2003 BIG EAST Championship match Sunday at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

The women’s consolation match between No. 3 seed Boston College and No. 4 seed Virginia Tech was suspended with the score tied 3-3.
