Hurricanes Eighth At Waterlefe Invitational

BRADENTON, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miamiwomen’s golf team fired an opening round 317 and is in eighth-place at theWaterlefe Invitational in Bradenton, Fla. The day’s second round had to behalted due to rain with several teams still on the course.
Teams will finish the second round Tuesday morning followed by the third and final round.
Host South Florida leads after one round with a score of 302.Louisville (303) is currently in second with Penn State (304) in third.
Sophomore Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) shot anopening round 74 to lead the Hurricanes. Junior Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen,Norway) also played well in the opening round recording a 78.
