Women's Basketball Hosts St. John's

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s basketball team hosts BIG EAST opponent St. John’s Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
The Hurricanes (13-7 overall, 5-4 in the BIG EAST) enter the contest on a two game losing streak after falling 65-56 to Rutgers Tuesday night.
St. John’s (8-13 overall, 2-8 in the BIG EAST) fell to No. 1 Connecticut 87-46 Tuesday night.
Miami leads the all-time series 15-6 over St. John’s, including a five-game winning streak over the Red Storm.
With a win over St. John’s head coach Ferne Labati would become the 39th Division I coach to earn 400 career victories.
Labati in her 24th season has compiled an overall record of 399-288. She is in her 15th season at Miami with a record of 263-166.
