– Alex Madrigal: Kansas City, Kansas: To the ‘Canes Football team and Coaching staff, I’ve been a fan of the University of Miami Football team for a long time. It’s good to see the team back on top. In my opinion, you guys should be back to back Champions!!! I thank you for an exciting season and look forward to next year. Good luck and I’ll be cheering you on all the way to the Championship!!!! Yours truly, Alex Madirgal
Sean Alligood: Quitman, GA: The best team on this night did not win. Hold your head high and be proud of your accomplishments. There are teams that only dream of accomplishing the feat which you have been involved in over the last 2 years. There is no coubt that the best team did not win on the field that night, learn from the mistakes and there is no doubt that We’ll Be Back to claim what is ours.
Danny Scott: Oviedo, Florida: Hey Guys, I don’t care what all those stupid OSU fans or the rest of the general public has to think about you guys. You guys are the best!!! Keep your heads high, especially you McGahee. I have to give you mad props because you have been awesome this year. I felt your pain as I saw you in the beginning of the 4th quarter, but you’re a hard worker, and you can make the full recovery. That was a unecessary hit, but you just have to go out there with a “chip” on your shoulder and show them that you’re one of the most electrifying runningbacks that ever set football onto the football gridiron. Take care guys and keep up the good work.
Dan Fuller: Wellington, Florida: To coach Coker, staff and players:You guys had a great year…CONGRATS! While things didn’t work out in Tempe, let’s use that loss as motivation to get to and WIN the 2004 Sugar Bowl. Every opponent next year now thinks they can beat you, but, they’re wrong. I drive 75 miles one way to the Orange Bowl for each game because I love UM and how hard y’all play. Let’s get’em in 2003 ! Special thanks to Kenny and the outgoing seniors and a big get well to Willis ! GO CANES !!
Frank Locascio, Naperville,: Your team has inspired and set an example for many young kids around the country. This football team has raised the bar to a new level in college football, both in ability and sportsmanship. You never lost your focus or dignity. A great team wins even when they are not having their best day. It took an unfortunate call to keep you from 35 straight wins, but anyone who follows knows. Even the OSU fans I work with admitted the truth, but laughingly will not give up their “championship”. They know theirs are few and far between. Miami will be back again next year.

Joe Miller: Gainesville.Fla: U are back.Go Canes
Billy Schwab: Pal Coast FL: We will be Back. Thank you for a Great Year. I come down to about 4 Games A Year with my Boy we really are Diehards and Love The Canes. I been following the Canes for 16 years since i moved down from Conn. Stay focused because you will be Back.I wish we could have Won that Game but it was not meant to be,it will make you Guys Hungry this year, see you in the SPRING. GOOD LUCK
steven caster: hollywood, fl: As a lifelong Hurricane fan, I am extremely proud of this 2002 team. You played with guts all season, and never quit. The comeback against FSU was tremendous, and all of us true Canes enjoyed the 41-16 romp in the Swamp. Nothin’ like beating up on the Gators! We’ll be back in 2003!
Tee Bonner: Cincinnati, Ohio: In Buckeye country, I have had to go through the most humiliating weeks ever as a Hurricane fan. I think it was a bogus pass interference call and an injury to Willis that cost us the back to back. The Fiesta Bowl is evil. I am sure that the ‘Canes will be back next year. Frank Gore, Brock Berlin, Kellen Winslow, it is your time to shine. Be afraid, be very afraid, because what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Coach Coker is still the man, but it is time to go back to wearing fatigues coming off the plane. It’s time to use Jeremy Shockey, Michael Irvin, Warren Sapp, and Ray Lewis as an example. 14-0 2003-04 Hurricanes, the dynasty ain’t went nowhere. C-ya in the big easy 4 sheasy. Get well Willis, but don’t comeback too soon. Redshirt if you have to. Knee injuries already cost us Melvin Bratton who could have been Emmitt Smith in the NFL.
jerad ciarus: preston, idaho: We all know the Fiesta Bowl game was not our offensive A game. Every game next year will be an A game. The defense is awesome. You guys left it all on the field. don’t hang your heads because i’m not. i’m proud to be a cane.
Garrett Hobbs: Ore City, Tx: That whole thing was a fluke, Ohio State is not a better football team. You should prove that to everyone next year.
Frankie Cunningham: New York New York: Hey Canes I am very proud of you guys this year. I know it was a very tough lose, but I know the you guys will be back next year. Ohio State was lucky, I know you guys will prove who rules the nation next year. National Champs 2004
