Women's Basketball Hosts Texas A&M

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s basketball team hosts Texas A&M Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Knight Sports Complex.

Miami (4-3) is coming off an 86-61 victory over Florida Atlantic Monday night. The Aggies (6-1) enter the contest on a six-game winning streak after beating Texas-Arlington 72-70 in College Station Saturday night.

Miami is 1-0 all-time versus Texas A&M. The two teams met during the 1984-85 season UM won 75-62.

Tamara James leads the Miami offense averaging 24.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

Toccara Williams leads the Aggies averaging 14.3 points per game.

The game will be broadcast live on WVUM (90.5 FM).
