Feature: Inaugural Concert!
The Brit-rock quartet Coldplay are Chris Martin (vocals), Jon Buckland(guitar), Will Champion (drums), and Guy Berryman (bass). Forming at theUniversity College of London in early 1998, Coldplay stepped onto themusic scene in 1994. Coldplay independently released The Safety EP in1998, with the Brothers and Sisters EP being picked up by Fierce Panda andreleased a year later. Two more EPs, Shiver and Yellow, arrived in spring2000. Their full-length debut Parachutes, which earned the band a MercuryMusic Prize nomination, was released in the UK shortly thereafter. InNovember 2000, Parachutes saw a US release with “Nettwerk”; a month later”Yellow” was chosen as the theme song for all promo spots for ABC. Thewell-received hype surrounding the band continued throughout 2001 as well,taking on three Brit Awards nominations and a sold out ten date tour ofthe U.S. in February. Most recently Coldplay released under CapitolRecords A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002).

The first wave of basketball season tickets have been sent out andshould be arriving to our ticket holders early this week.Parking Preference Forms have been sent out and many have alreadyreturned.Season ticket holders have 4 lots to choose from by ranking each 1-4(1 being MOST convenient, 4 being LEAST convenient)Lots will be assigned based on the priority system (total donationto the Convo Center)The four lots are: Ponce de Leon Garage; Metro Rail South; MetroRail North; Pavia Garage
