Cross Country Travels To Gator Invitational

Gainesville, FL (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami men’s and women’s cross country teams return to action on Saturday, October 5 at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, FL.
Twenty-five men’s teams and 23 women’s teams will be competing at the event, which will include a total of 264 athletes competing in the men’s race and 251 runners in the women’s race.
Many of the teams are from schools throughout the state of Florida, as the Gator Invitational will also serve as the Florida Intercollegiate State Cross Country Championship.
The women’s 6K race is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. followed by the men’s 8K race at 8:45 a.m.
