Boniface Wins UCF Invitational

Orlando, FL (hurricanesports.com) – Miami senior Dan Boniface (Seattle, WA) recorded his first career meet victory to lead the University of Miami men’s cross country team to the team championship at the UCF Invitational in Orlando, FL.
Boniface completed the 4-mile course in a time of 20:26.20. UM junior Matt Mulvaney (South Hadley, MA) finished second with a time of 20:38.80.
The Hurricanes had five runners finish in the top-28 in recording 45 points. Warner Southern took second with 72 points.
Other Hurricanes running well included freshmen Alex Brutvan, who took seventh (21:13.70) and James Mullaly, who finished 14th (21:34.70). Sophomore Billy Bludgus (Bayonne, NJ) rounded out the scoring for Miami with a 28th-place finish (22:17.00).
