Convocation Center Preview And Tour

It is with great anticipation and excitement that the University of Miami opens the Convocation Center on January 4th, 2003 with the men’s basketball team taking on the University of North Carolina. As a member of the Hurricane Club, we would like to invite you to an exclusive preview and tour of the building on Saturday, September 28th at 4:00 pm.

The afternoon’s activities will consist of free food and refreshments, a private tour of the facility, a project update from Athletics Director Paul Dee, a question and answer session with men’s basketball Head Coach Perry Clark and an autograph session with members from the men’s and women’s basketball teams. We encourage you to bring your family and friends to this exclusive Hurricane Club event.

Dress Code
– No sleeveless t-shirts or tops
– Must wear closed toed shoes (sneakers, boots, dress shoes, etc.)
– Must wear long pants – NO shorts or skirts

Location
– In front of the Kearns Sports Hall of Fame, next to the Hecht Athletic Center (tents will be setup in the parking lot)
– Buses will pick guests up from this location and shuttle them to the Convocation Center site, with flights leaving every 20 minutes (each guest will be assigned a flight time when they RSVP)

Parking
– The event is on a Saturday so there will be plenty of spaces in front of Cobb Track & Mark Light Stadium, as well as lots across the street from the Hecht Center and metered spots on San Amaro Drive.
