Kyle Prandi Featured by U.S. Diving

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com)– Miami diver Kyle Prandiis featured in the current edition of the official publication of U.S. Diving.
U.S. Diving is the national governing body of diving in the United States andis recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee as the sport’s national governingbody.
Prandi, a junior from Strongsville, Ohio, was the 2001 BIG EAST Men’s Diver ofthe Year. He is the defending NCAA National Champion in the 10-meter platformand an All-American in the 3-meter springboard.
He will next compete at the 2002 Men’s NCAA Swimming & Diving Championshipsat the Gabrielsen Natatorium on the campus of the University of Georgia in Athensfrom March 28-30.
U.S. Diving recently announced that Prandi had prequalified for the 2002 WorldCup Trials to be held at Cleveland State University in Ohio on April 20-21.
Members of the 2000 Olympic Team and the top eight finishers from the 2001 U.S.National Indoor & Outdoor Diving Championships will vie for the opportunity torepresent the United States in international competition.
He finished second in the men’s platform finals at both the 2001 U.S. NationalIndoor and Outdoor Championships to qualify.
