Miami Takes Second At Peggy Kirk

Winter Springs, FL (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s golf team fired a two-round total of 610 and finished second at the Peggy Kirk Invitational held at Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs, FL.
Miami, which shot 305 on both days, finished nine strokes back of team champion North Carolina State (308-293-601). Arkansas State (308-306-614) finished third.
The Hurricanes were led by sophomore Jazmin Cataldo (Asuncion, Paraguay) who shot two-day total of 149 (75-74) to finish in fourth-place. Rachel Bell of Florida Southern won the individual title with a two-round score of 146. Jana Peterkova (Florida Southern) and Malin Claesson (NC State) tied for second at 148.
Also playing well for Miami was freshman Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) who finished tied for fifth with a two-day score of 150 (74-76).
