Pittsburgh Invades Knight Complex Saturday

Coral Gables, Fla. – (www.hurricanesports.com) – Miami returns to the KnightComplex on Saturday evening to host Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. The Hurricanes (11-7overall, 8-1 at home) will attempt to extend their season-long five-match winstreak.
Pittsburgh plays at Florida International Friday night before visiting the KnightComplex on Saturday. The Panthers (7-11, 4-4 BIG EAST) are the second BIG EASTteam to travel to Coral Gables this season. Miami defeated St. John’s, 3-0, onOctober 17th. An independent this season, UM joins BIG EAST conference play involleyball next season.
Most recently, Miami defeated Nova Southeastern 3-0 in Ft. Lauderdale to improveto 3-6 on the road. The win over the Knights was impressive statistically. UMhit a season-best .621 attack percentage in the second game, a 30-16 win.
UM next hosts Georgia State on Sunday, October 28th at 2 p.m.
