Hurricanes Hit the Road
Coral Gables, Fla. – (www.hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miamivolleyball team travels to Ft. Lauderdale to play Nova Southeastern on Wednesdaynight at 7 p.m.
The Hurricanes (10-7) attempt to grab a rare road win against the Knights (14-14).UM is 8-1 at home but 2-6 away from Coral Gables.
Miami is riding a four-match win streak. All of those victories came at home withthe Hurricanes winning 12 of 14 games and outscoring its opponents 346-227.
UM’s last road win was at Florida Memorial on September 28th (3-0).
Miami returns to play at the Knight Complex on Saturday, October 27th againstBIG EAST foe Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. The match marks the start of the longest homestretch of the season for the Hurricanes. UM plays five-straight home matchesbefore playing its final match of the 2001 season at St. Thomas.
