Men's Cross Country Finishes 7th At Disney Invitational

Orlando, FL – Senior Jeff Gaulrapp (Baldwinsville, NY) finished third with a personal best time of 25:11.31 to lead the University of Miami men’s cross country team to a 7th-place finish out of 31 teams at the Disney Invitational held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL.

Gaulrapp has now been the Hurricanes top finisher in 12 consecutive races dating back to last season.

Miami had a total of three runners finish among the top-25 individually. Sophomore Matt Mulvaney (South Hadley, MA) also recorded a personal best finishing sixth, completing the 8,000-meter course in a time of 25:26.37. Senior Dan Boniface (Seattle, WA) took 25th with a time of 26:25.58.

The Hurricanes return to action on Friday, October 12 when they host the Greentree Invitational at Larry and Penny Thompson Park in Miami, FL.
