Miami to Complete Road Swing at FIU
Coral Gables, Fla. – (www.hurricanesports.com) – After tough road matchesin Tallahassee against Florida A&M and Florida State, Hurricane volleyballreturns to play in Miami — although not on campus.
Miami travels to neighbor Florida International for a match on Friday eveningat 7:30 p.m. The contest, originally scheduled for September 14th, was postponedafter the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Miami (6-6) attempts to reverse a two-match losing skid after losses at undefeatedFlorida A&M and Florida State.
Florida International (9-4) will play New Mexico State Thursday evening beforehosting Miami. The Golden Panthers have victories over Middle Tennessee State(3-2), Jacksonville (3-1) and Florida Atlantic (3-1). FIU also defeated Tulsa(3-2), a team Miami faces at home on October 11th.
