Cross Country Heads To Disney Invitational

Coral Gables, FL – The University of Miami men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete at the prestigious Disney Invitational this Saturday, October 6, at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL.
A total of 31 men’s teams and 33 women’s teams from seven different states will compete at this year’s Invitational. The 8,000-meter men’s race is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. with the 6,000-meter women’s race slated for 8:40 a.m.
Senior Jeff Gaulrapp (Baldwinsville, NY) will lead the Hurricane men. Gaulrapp has been the Hurricanes’ top finisher in 11 consecutive races dating back to last season including a second-place finish at last weekend’s FIU Invitational.
The UM women, who took first at the FIU Invitational last weekend, will look to senior Jennifer Geroux (Balto, MD). Geroux has been Miami’s top finisher in all three meets this season.
